We want your experience to be as comfortable and confident as possible, so we've tried to pre-answer as many questions as we can.  If you still have a question that isn't answered below please contact us!

What skill level do I need to be at on a motorcycle?

Obviously, you must hold a current motorcycle drivers licence from your country of residence.  You should be confident on the road on a motorcycle and certainly having some experience off-road (even just riding gravel roads) would be highly recommended.  While the off-road section may be challenging at times, we will not push anyone beyond their limit.  Our experienced guides will be there to assist and to ensure everyone is enjoying their riding experience in a safe manner while in the backcountry.

What if the bike I'm riding incurs damage?

There's a reason these bikes have heavy skid plates and crash protection on them!  They weren't built just to be "pavement princesses"!  So we understand they're going to get scuffed and scratched...  If parts are broken or a mechanic's labor is required to repair something those costs will be deducted from the Damage Deposit.

What if the bike I'm riding breaks down?

All of our bikes are maintained in excellent condition so we aren't too concerned about that happening... However, in the unlikely event that a bike has an unresolvable issue, we will get you on a substitute bike as soon as possible so that you don't miss out on any of your tour experience!

What riding gear should I bring?

You don't need to bring ANY!!!

We have a large selection of sizes and will be able to outfit you from head-to-toe with gear that will not only fit great and make you look like a Moto-Rockstar but will keep you comfortable and dry no matter what your adventure holds in store for you!  The riding gear is included in your tour package and there is no extra-charge for it!

If you are interested in purchasing some of this gear, talk to us we'd love to get you setup!

How does the Deposit work?

A 50% deposit is required at time of booking.  If you regrettably must cancel for an unforeseen reason you would receive the following amount back depending on proximity to your tour dates:

  • Over 90 days         = Full Refund (minus admin fee of $200cad)
  • 60-90 days            = 50% Refund
  • Less than 60 days = NO Refund**

**We would be happy to discuss transferring your deposit to a later tour in the same tour season (with a $200 admin fee).

What if the weather is bad?

The weather in the Interior of British Columbia is typically beautiful throughout the summer with mid-summer temperatures typically ranging between 25-35*C in the daytime and cooling down to 10-15*C at night.  Pretty ideal for riding motorcycles!  While it is possible to get extended periods of rain, we've found rain showers are usually brief and pass by quickly in this region.  However, all of our gear is rated waterproof and will keep you comfortable and dry should you encounter the wet stuff!  Tours will not be cancelled due to inclement weather...it's just part of the adventure!

Where is the closest airport?

Kelowna International Airport (YLW) is the most convenient airport and we would be happy to pick you up from and shuttle you back to this airport!  The Four Points By Sheraton Kelowna Airport is an excellent hotel located right at the airport should your incoming flight arrive late at night.

Can I bring a passenger?

For our "Glaciers & Hot Springs Road Tour" we would love to encourage you to bring along a significant person to enjoy the journey with!

For our "10 or 3 Day Adventure Tours" passengers are not permitted to ride pillion for the off-road segment.  This is for your safety. As always, we are open to discussing with you how we can best accommodate your needs.

What if I need medical assistance?

All of our guides are trained in First Aid and prepared to deal with any "common situations" that might unfortunately happen along the trail.  They are also equipped with Garmin inReach devices for quickly alerting medical rescue should it be needed even in the most remote areas.

As always when travelling, it is important to have Travel Medical Insurance.  Proof of Travel Medical Insurance will be required prior to the start of your tour.
